70mai Co., Ltd. ("70mai", "we", "us" or "our") respects your concerns about privacy.

70mai is a company registered according to the laws of the People's Republic of China and located at 2F, Block 3, No. 401, Caobao Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, China, and may be contacted via email at dataprotection@70mai.com or phone at the numbers provided at the end of this document.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of July 27, 2026. We developed this Privacy Policy to provide you with information on the types of your Personal Data we obtain, how we process your Personal Data and with whom it may be shared, and the choices available to you regarding how we collect, store, and use your Personal Data.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ('data subject'); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

This Privacy Policy applies to the official 70mai website (www.70mai.com), the products, content, features and services made available through or in connection with this website (collectively, the "Website Services"), and your interactions with us through the website. Additionally, depending on the pages you visit, the services you use, or your location, the categories of Personal Data collected and the purposes and methods of processing may vary. Where a specific service or feature is accompanied by a separate privacy policy, that separate privacy policy shall apply.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to consider applicable laws, rules, or regulations, as well as continuously improve our security technology to ensure your Personal Data is safe with us. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the statement and we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage or sending you a notification).

Legal Bases for Processing your Personal Data

We may process your information if you have given us consent to use your Personal Data for a specific purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

We may process your Personal Data when we believe it is necessary to fulfil contractual obligations to you.

We may process your information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests and when such interests do not outweigh your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms.

We may process your information where we believe it is necessary for compliance with other legal obligations, such as to cooperate with a law enforcement body or regulatory agency, exercise or defend our legal rights, or disclose your information as evidence in litigation in which we are involved when we are required to do so.

What Personal Data We Collect

We collect Personal Data voluntarily provided by you when you use our Services. In some cases, we may indirectly collect Personal Data about you by using a feature or service related to our Services.

This includes, but is not limited to, email addresses, phone numbers, contact or authentication data, video data and other telemetry in a legally limited scope, as needed for the implementation of various product features such as crash or impact detection, proximity detection, motion detection, and other advanced features available with certain products.

We may also collect technical information, such as your IP address and other information about your use of our website, through cookies or similar technologies placed on your device when you access our website. For more information about our use of cookies and to know how you can manage your cookie preferences, please refer to our separate Cookie Policy, which forms an integral part of this Privacy Policy.

How we use your Personal Data

We will only use your Personal Data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably believe that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your Personal Data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

We only utilize your Personal Data in compliance with relevant laws, rules or regulations and, where required, with your consent. Depending on how you interact with our services, we will also process your information when it is permissible under relevant laws, and reasonably necessary and proportionate to achieve the following purposes, including, but not limited to:

  • MAC address (by invoking mobile phone permissions), Dashcam ID
  • Dashcam settings (when checking the information of the Dashcams)
To use core functionality of the App and the Dashcams
  • To view information related to the vehicle and the trips
  • Vehicle current location (via Dashcam and applicable when 4G is in function, only supported on the App and regardless if the vehicle engine is on or off)
  • Vehicle recent locations updated every 15 seconds (only available in vehicle tracking mode and applicable when both the vehicle engine and the Dashcam are power on when 4G is in function)
  • Footage in front of the vehicle, vehicle location history record, vehicle speed history record, vehicle altitude history record and vehicle track history record when you publish the downloaded videos from the App to third-party social platforms (optionally with the inclusion of RS special effects in the video and once RS is chosen, it cannot be reversed. RS special effects include driving speed, track, and altitude information)
  • Vehicle driving history when sync the history of driving route from the Dashcams to the App (only applicable for Dashcams without 4G function)
  • To push notification of electronic fence breach event (with 4G function)
  • Vehicle real-time location in determination if the vehicle is beyond the electronic fence
  • Vehicle history location, vehicle recently movements when pushing notification of electronic fence breach event

  • To push notification of parking surveillance incidents (with 4G function)
  • On-demand videos recorded scenes outside the vehicle triggered by collision or AI instructions

  • Device information (IMEI/MAC/Android ID/IDFA/OpenUDID/GUID/ICCID/IP/SIM/IMSI/Location), account information of the App, the click times for pages of the App, dwell time

This includes, but is not limited to, providing you with communications about our Services and providing customer support.

Maintenance and Experience Improvement

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Processing such information as necessary to perform system maintenance or diagnostics; or to develop, maintain, repair, or enhance our Services.
  • Conducting internal research or analytics to improve our Services, and performing inventory management or reasonable network management.
  • Protecting against spam.
  • Debugging or repairing errors that impair the functionality of our Services.
  • Authenticating users of our Services.
  • Fulfilling our Services warranty.

Security and Legal Needs

This includes, but is not limited to, preventing, detecting, protecting against, or responding to a security incident. For purposes of this paragraph, security is defined as network security, physical security, and life safety, including an intrusion or trespass, medical alerts, fire alarms, and access control security.

Preventing, detecting, protecting against, or responding to fraud, harassment, or illegal activity. For purposes of this paragraph, the term ''illegal activity'' means a violation of a relevant local law.

Complying with relevant legal obligations.

Preventing an individual, or group of individuals, from suffering harm where we believe in good faith that the individual, or group of individuals, is at risk of death, serious physical injury, or other serious health risk.

Effectuating a product recall.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We will not disclose your Personal Data to third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted by applicable laws. We will carry out due diligence on such third parties to ensure that they treat any Personal Data they receive in strict accordance with relevant law.

We may disclose your Personal Data to 70mai subsidiaries, group companies, affiliates, business partners, or service providers who provide services to us or who cooperate with us. We will strictly limit the amount and type of information disclosed to that which is necessary, and ensure that such third parties handle your information in accordance with relevant law.

We may also disclose your Personal Data to relevant authorities under certain circumstances, including: (1) if we are required to do so by law or legal process; (2) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; (3) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical or other harm or financial loss; (4) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity; or (5) otherwise with your consent.

How We Transfer and Store Your Personal Data

Because of the international nature of our business, we may store your Personal Data and provide our Services via servers in different regions depending on your physical location. We may from time to time transfer Personal Data within 70mai and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "70mai group"), and to third parties as noted herein, in connection with the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

We take protecting your Personal Data seriously, and we have in place strong internal security practices to that end, which we continuously update and adapt to the changing security environment.

To the extent that we may need to transfer Personal Data outside of your jurisdiction, we shall do so in accordance with applicable law.

When your Personal Data is transferred outside of your jurisdiction, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place. We will also adhere to legally required transfer mechanisms and associated requirements. This includes: Standard Contractual Clauses, Additional Technical Safeguards, and Impact Assessments.

We only retain your Personal Data for the minimum period permitted under relevant laws or as required for fulfilling the business purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, unless an extension is required or permitted by applicable law. We will delete your Personal Data as required by relevant laws or when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which the Personal Data was collected, processed, or transferred, unless an individual has provided affirmative express consent to such retention. 

Personal Data of Minors

We do not knowingly or intentionally collect, process, or transfer the Personal Data or sensitive Personal Data of individuals under the age of majority in the relevant jurisdiction or as otherwise proscribed by relevant local law. If we learn that such Personal Data or sensitive Personal Data has been incidentally collected, we will take steps to delete it upon discovery or request.

Your Privacy Rights

Your rights are important to us. Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding the processing of your Personal Data:

Right to Withdraw Consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent for our use of your Personal Data at any time, although this may disrupt our provision of our Services to you.

Right to Access and Review. You have the right to confirm with us if your Personal Data has been processed, and to receive a copy of the Personal Data we have collected, processed, or retained. You also have the right to acquire such Personal Data in an organized, machine-readable format and request that we transfer this Personal Data to another controller.

Right to Correct. You have the right to request that your Personal Data is corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You can update your Personal Data at any time by logging into your account and updating your details directly or by requesting us to do so.

Right to Erase. You have the right to request us to delete your Personal Data. However, in some cases we may not always be able to comply with your request for erasure due to specific legal obligations which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new Services, as we improve our current offerings, and as technologies or laws change. You can determine when this Privacy Policy was last revised by referring to the "Last Updated" legend at the top of this page. Any changes will become effective upon our posting of the revised Privacy Policy.

We will provide notice to you if these changes are material and, where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent. This notice will be provided by email or by posting notice of the changes on the 70mai App that link to this Privacy Policy.
